What the website collects
If you send a referral, enquiry, feedback or complaint, the website collects the details you choose to provide in that form. This may include contact information, support needs, goals, funding information and consent details.
The referral form does not request document uploads. Fields such as the NDIS number, residential suburb and guardianship arrangements are optional. Please provide only the information needed for the initial referral.
Preferences stored in your browser
The accessibility options in the site header (text size, theme and high contrast) are saved in your browser’s local storage on your device so they apply on your next visit. These preferences never leave your device, are not sent to Acanthus Care and are not used to identify or track you. Clearing your browser data removes them.
Why information is collected
Information submitted through the website is used to:
- understand and respond to a referral or enquiry
- receive and respond to feedback or a complaint
- make contact using the details and preferences supplied
- meet legal, safeguarding and record-keeping responsibilities that apply.
How online forms are delivered
The production website is configured to send form contents over HTTPS through a protected server endpoint to an authorised Acanthus Care mailbox. Form values are not written to browser analytics, console logs or application error payloads.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used for spam protection when the production keys are configured. The email delivery provider and Acanthus Care mailbox may process and retain submitted information under their configured policies.
Access, correction and deletion
To ask about personal information held by Acanthus Care, request a correction, or ask about deletion where it is legally available, contact info@acanthuscare.com.au or call 0400 958 445.
Information security
Acanthus Care limits access to submitted information to people who need it for their work. Security, retention and deletion controls also apply to the mailbox and service providers used to receive website forms.
